It’s still a couple of months away, but all signs are promising for State of Decay 2. It was close to the perfect simulation of zombie apocalypse survival but just slightly fell short in a couple of areas.
While the original State of Decay was an engrossing and pretty damn fun time, it had some sloppy moments that took me out of it quite often. There’s better incorporation of stealth, a far deeper approach to hierarchy, and vehicles that don’t control like you’re drowning in syrup. The original game was an out-an-out indie graphically, but State of Decay 2 has a nice polish to it that shows off the extra dollars in the production coffers.Īlong with impressing visually, the gameplay trailer above shows off the game’s mechanics, which look to be expanded on greatly from the first.
